Parfumeur | Corinne Cachen
203 Mûre Ébène by Bon Parfumeur is a fruity, vanilla and floral niche eau de parfum, unisex, created by perfumer Corinne Cachen. This perfume was previously called 203 Framboise - Vanille - Mûre.
A house where the number indicates the olfactory family
Bon Parfumeur is a Parisian house founded in 2017 by Ludovic Bonneton, a passionate collector who became artistic director. The project was born from two things: his return from Colombia, where he lived surrounded by the scents of cocoa, coffee and tropical flowers, and his meeting with the great perfumer Raymond Chaillan, who showed him that perfume could be described through the five senses rather than through words. Its distinctive feature is its numbering system, which is far from arbitrary: the first digit indicates the olfactory family, while the following two indicate the perfume's position within that family. The creations are designed from the outset to be mixed and layered — the Mix & Match principle. Each fragrance is entrusted to a different perfumer and is born from a precise image brought to the studio by Bonneton. Everything is made in France.
An opening of pear, raspberry and neroli
The pear opens green and juicy, the raspberry tart and fruity, while the neroli — the blossom of the bitter orange — adds a floral and sweet touch. The start of the journey.
A heart of jasmine, rose and blackberry
The jasmine and the rose line the path with their blossoms, then the blackberry arrives — juicy, syrupy, almost candied. It is the subject of the title, and this is where it is picked.
A base of white woods, musk and vanilla
The white woods bring a clear dryness, the musk its cottony sweetness and the vanilla its addictive roundness — like a blanket thrown over shoulders upon returning.
The house's signature
A family photo transformed into a perfume. The starting point is literal, and Bonneton describes it this way: "I started with a family photo, it captured the innocence of childhood, I wanted to bring it back to life through this perfume." The perfumer describes the scene: "A sunny perfume with red fruit accents. Ludovic had in mind a family photo taken during a fruit harvest." And the composition follows exactly the course of a harvest: we walk along the path (pear, raspberry), the flowers line it (rose, jasmine), we pick the blackberry in the heart, and the vanilla closes the walk like a soft blanket on shivering skin. The pyramid is not a list: it is the story of an afternoon.
For whom, for what occasions?
Fruity, vanilla and floral, this eau de parfum is for those who love red fruits treated gently, without syrupy heaviness. It gives its best from spring to autumn, during the day, worn equally well by women as by men.
With 203 Mûre Ébène Bon Parfumeur, Corinne Cachen brings a childhood memory back to life.
