Ajyal by Spirit of Dubai is an oriental fruity floral eau de parfum, unisex, created by Asghar Adam Ali. The house describes it as the spirit of generations, made of optimism, energy and joy — ajyal means generations.

A note of petrichor

The top contains petrichor: the smell of rain on dry earth. It is a rare ingredient, almost never named in a fragrance pyramid, and it says a lot about a perfume born in a desert country. With thirty-eight ingredients, Ajyal is also the house's second richest composition.

The opening stacks thirteen ingredients, from citrus to fleshy fruits, with mint and rhubarb for acidity, black pepper for spice, and candy apple — the caramelized apple of funfairs.

Spirit of Dubai is published by Nabeel Perfumes and its first collection dates back to 2015. Its master perfumer, Asghar Adam Ali, founded Nabeel at sixteen and also creates Shumukh, holder of the Guinness World Record for the most expensive perfume in the world.
