Touch of Oud was founded in the United Arab Emirates in 2014 and has several boutiques in Dubai. Its fragrances have only been distributed in France since 2026. Al Majd is, along with Salwan and Jelood, one of its highest-end fragrances.

A trio of citrus fruits

The opening features bergamot, lemon, and bitter grapefruit. A frank, clean, almost soapy start of elegance.

A heart of ginger and vetiver

The heart contains only two ingredients: spicy ginger, which warms the citrus, and dry, earthy vetiver, which gives it its backbone.

A base of patchouli and ambroxan

The base combines patchouli, ambroxan, and musk. It is this foundation that gives a citrus fragrance the longevity of an extract, whereas most fade within two hours.
