Parfumeur | Nathalie Feisthauer
Alba Andaluz by Noble Heritage is a gourmand, amber, citrusy extrait de parfum, unisex, created by Nathalie Feisthauer. Its name means the Andalusian dawn, and the house presents it as a tribute to the serenity of southern Spain.
A French house that tells the story of a country through perfume
Noble Heritage presents itself as a French perfume house inspired by the world, where each fragrance is born from a journey or an encounter. Its motto can be summed up in three words: a note, a country, a story. Each creation is linked to a specific place: Andalusia for Alba Andaluz, a garden in Sidi Bou Saïd, Tunisia, for Secret Garden, and Madagascar for Nosy Vanilla, its third creation.
An opening of neroli essence, yellow mandarin, and Italian lemon
Four citrusy ingredients follow one another, including one flower. The neroli essence — distilled from bitter orange blossom — already announces the heart to come. The yellow mandarin, Italian lemon, and bergamot provide the zest of early morning, clean and luminous.
A heart of orange blossom, almond, and cake
The orange blossom settles in, milky and sunny. The almond answers it with its kernel sweetness, and a cake accord brings a warm pastry note. Here, the perfume shifts from freshness to gourmand without a break.
A base of vanilla absolute, Siam benzoin, and Virginian cedar
The vanilla absolute and Siam benzoin — two ingredients named for their quality and origin — establish a balsamic warmth. The ambroxan and a gourmand accord prolong the sweetness, while the Virginian cedar brings a dry woodiness that prevents the whole from turning into a dessert.
The house's signature
The name does not refer to a region but to a time: alba, dawn. And the composition follows this exact time — citrus first, then orange blossom and pastry, and finally the balms. The perfume is signed by Nathalie Feisthauer, trained at the Roure school in Grasse in 1983, a perfumer at Givaudan and then Symrise for over thirty years, now independent — and 2019 FiFi Award Perfumer of the Year. She is one of the best-represented noses in our catalog: we also find her at Orens, Universe Parfums, Bryasa, Empreinte d'Effluves, and Maison Sental.
For whom, for what occasions?
For those who love luminous gourmands rather than heavy ones, and are looking for an orange blossom that is not a cologne. It is a spring perfume, wearable day or night, with the longevity of an extrait. Alba Andaluz Noble Heritage will suit those who want a sunny perfume at the start and a comforting one at the end.
