A house that changes perfumer with each creation

Nysos is a Parisian house with an unusual compositional approach: it entrusts almost every creation to a different perfumer. Ten fragrances, eight noses — only Olivier Cresp and Benjamin Bélizon have each created two — and you will find signatures there that are usually found at the great houses. Its eau de parfums are presented in 80 ml, its extracts in 50 ml.

An opening of coconut, raspberry and orange

Three ingredients, and an immediately gourmand opening. Coconut brings its tropical creaminess, raspberry its tart flesh, orange a sweet sparkle. No freshness to soften the blow: the fragrance gets straight to the point.

A heart of chocolate, caramel and Indian jasmine

Chocolate and caramel establish a frank, almost pastry-like gourmandness. And in the middle, Indian jasmine places a white flower where it is not expected — it is what prevents the heart from becoming cloying and gives it its longevity.

A base of white woods and vanilla absolute

Two ingredients to close. The white woods bring a dry clarity that contradicts the sugar, and the vanilla absolute — the most complete extraction of the pod — its balsamic depth. As an extract, this base lasts a very long time.

Ampelos never stays in the same place: a fruit opening, a dessert heart, a woody base — three successive registers for a single composition, where most gourmands establish a scent and stick to it. The Indian jasmine in the heart is the hinge: it belongs to the floral register, but serves as a passage between the sugar and the wood. And all this is contained in eight ingredients — with Le Musc, the house's shortest formula, while Les Paradis Artificiels uses twenty-four.
