Twelve fragrances, seven perfumers, one single year

Karakash Perfume is a Turkish haute parfumerie house, and its history is unique in that all twelve of its fragrances were launched in the same year, 2023 — a complete collection from the outset, unlike most houses, which build their catalog one reference at a time. Even more unusual: these twelve creations are signed by seven different noses — Mohammad Tammam Mando, Jean-Michel Santorini, Amandine Galliano, Marc Zini, Marie Huguenot, Laure-Leta Jacquet, and Émilie Bouge. The bottles are sculptural, and the house's narrative revolves around self-preparation and confidence.

The cypress leaf opens the composition — green, resinous, and fresh, very different from cypress wood, which is drier and heavier. Saffron brings its leathery facet, cardamom its camphoraceous freshness, mugwort its herbal bitterness, and bergamot its citrus.

A heart of Bulgarian rose and jasmine

The Bulgarian rose and jasmine establish the floral, while grapefruit brightens it with a zesty bitterness. Nutmeg adds spice, while vanilla and musk begin to round out the composition.

A base of agarwood and leather

The agarwood finally arrives, accompanied by cedar, sandalwood, and leather. Amber and tonka bean bring the balsamic warmth that softens an otherwise very severe base.
