A 1942 recipe book, reopened in 2016

It all began in 1942 in Bibbiena, a medieval village in Tuscany's Casentino Valley. Giovan Piero and Emma Ducci opened a bottega selling fragrances and ointments, which Giovan Piero created using his experience as the village pharmacist — and his recipe book is still kept by the family. In the late 1960s, their daughter Irma turned it into a prestigious perfumery that still exists today. It was in 2016 that Silvia Martinelli reopened these notebooks to create the brand. Perfume and skincare side by side: that is exactly what the original shop sold.

What the gift set contains

The 100 ml eau de parfum and the 250 ml body cream share the same formula: caramel at the opening, honey and coumarin at the heart, and vanilla and white musks in the base. Five ingredients, and it is the house's most famous fragrance.
