La Ruche, Nectar Olfactif's eau de parfum collection

Nectar Olfactif is a French house founded by David Perrin, a niche perfume and travel enthusiast. The entire brand is inspired by the world of bees foraging on flowers, plants and fruit trees. After its six perfume extracts, the house launched La Ruche, an eau de parfum collection of three creations: Safran Doré, Café Gourmand and Musc Sensuel, each entrusted to a different perfumer.

An opening of cardamom and saffron

The opening brings together a bergamot essence, CO2-extracted cardamom, saffron and cinnamon leaf essence. Three spices and a citrus, which announce a gourmand that is more aromatic than sweet.

A heart of coffee absolute and vanilla

The heart features a CO2-extracted coffee absolute, nutmeg essence, jasmine petals and vanilla. Roasted coffee, the sweetness of vanilla, and jasmine to lighten it.

A base of benzoin, moss and vetiver

The base brings together a benzoin resin, a moss, amber woods, a heart of vetiver and musks. A balsamic and woody base that holds the gourmandise.

The house's touch

David Perrin himself tells the origin of the perfume: his love of coffee and sweet pleasures, and that moment of the day when you allow yourself a break. The coffee is a CO2-extracted absolute, an extraction that closely retains the scent of the material, and it is surrounded by three spices, cardamom, saffron and nutmeg, rather than caramel.
