Perfume as a narrative

Epicò Parfum is an Italian house founded in 2018 by Federico Gucciardi, an artist born in Bologna and renowned as "the poet of perfume." The name says it all: Epicò means "story". Each fragrance is born from a story written by Federico himself—pages of emotions, dreams, and memories that he then translates into accords, or "liquid verses"—and each perfume is accompanied by this short text, which reveals the soul of the fragrance. "Every drop is a word," he says, "every perfume is a chapter of our story." After years of artistic study and a career in major Italian beauty houses, he now composes with Fabio Bernardi and Giulia Brigliadori. The black bottle features a handmade antique copper label crafted by artisans, making each piece slightly different. 100 ml bottle.

The house's signature touch

A CITRON first and foremost—not cedar. Confusion is common, as the Italian cedro is often mistakenly translated as "cedar." It is indeed the citrus fruit, with its thick, bitter rind. Set against cotton candy and raspberry coulis, it brings the tartness without which this gourmand creation would be unbearable. And coconut water rather than cream follows the same logic: wherever the genre would use richness, this house uses its lighter version.
