Perfume as a narrative

Epicò Parfum is an Italian house founded in 2018 by Federico Gucciardi, an artist born in Bologna and recognized as "the poet of perfume". The name says it all: Epicò means "narrative". Each fragrance is born from a story that Federico writes himself, which he then translates into accords, or "liquid verses". The house is also developing a line of eaux de parfum, a line of home fragrances, and this body care line.

The ingredients

The cream is scented with apricot, chocolate, and tuberose, with top notes of orange blossom, mandarin, and goji berries. Vanilla absolute, tonka bean, and praline establish the base. Goji berries are the standout ingredient here: tart and slightly bitter, they are almost never found in perfumery, and they prevent the chocolate and praline from becoming overly sweet.

The layering ritual

The cream is the base, followed by the mist. Applied to clean skin, it nourishes and acts as a primer: hydrated skin retains fragrance much longer than dry skin. Macaron is available as a 200 ml cream and a 250 ml mist—both can be worn together.

How to use it?

Apply generously after showering to clean, dry skin, focusing on the pulse points (wrists, neck, and inner elbows). Spray the mist over it to extend the fragrance's longevity. 200 ml size.
