The Bianco Latte Body Cream by Giardini di Toscana is a gourmand, milky, and vanilla-scented body treatment in a 250 ml bottle. It is the body version of the house's most famous fragrance.

A 1942 recipe book, reopened in 2016

It all began in 1942 in Bibbiena, a medieval village in the Casentino Valley in Tuscany. Giovan Piero and Emma Ducci opened a bottega of fragrances and ointments, which Giovan Piero created using his experience as the village pharmacist — and his recipe book is still kept by the family. In the late 1960s, their daughter Irma turned it into a prestigious perfumery, which still exists today. It was in 2016 that Silvia Martinelli reopened these notebooks to create the brand. The skincare products are therefore not a range extension: they were there from day one, alongside the fragrances.

The fragrance of the cream

It is the same as the eau de parfum: caramel at the opening, honey and coumarin in the heart, vanilla and white musks in the base. Five ingredients, with coumarin preventing the sweetness from becoming cloying.

The layering ritual

The cream is not just a complement: it acts as a fixative. A fragrance lasts significantly less on dry skin because scent molecules do not adhere well and evaporate more quickly. Applying the cream before spraying creates an oily base that holds them — this is the principle of layering, and it works even better because both products share the same formula.

How to use it?

Apply to clean, slightly damp skin after showering, massaging until fully absorbed. Then spray the fragrance on the same areas. The cream can also be worn on its own for a more discreet scent trail.
