Delma Parfums is a French niche perfume house that celebrates the art of refined gourmandise through sophisticated and narrative compositions. An opening of pistachio, ice cream and sweet almond

The pistachio opens green and slightly salty, the sweet almond brings its milky roundness. Between the two, an accord of ice cream — cold, lactonic, almost frosted.

A heart of Madagascar vanilla, almond blossom and ylang-ylang

The Madagascar vanilla unfolds, ample and enveloping. The almond blossom and ylang-ylang bring the floral, and the Sri Lankan cinnamon leaf a sweet and peppery spice.

A base of white chocolate, tonka bean and Australian sandalwood

An ice cream accord in the top note — cold, not warm. This is what distinguishes this perfume from usual gourmands, all built on cooked sugar and caramel. Two technical choices serve this approach. The white chocolate in the base is lactonic and not cacaoté: it does not contain cocoa paste, so no bitterness comes to darken the sweetness. And it is the LEAF of Sri Lankan cinnamon that is used, not the bark — sweeter and more peppery, it brings relief without warming. The only dry counterpoint of the entire formula is the Australian sandalwood, a chosen origin rather than Mysore sandalwood, a protected species.
