Diva by Sospiro is a powdery fruity floral eau de parfum, unisex, created by Élodie Bernard. The house envisioned it as being born for the light: it rises gracefully, with the grandeur of a lyrical aria, and lingers like applause in a velvet-lined hall.

The Nero Collection

Diva belongs to the Nero Collection, five fragrances in 75 ml lacquered black glass bottles, alongside Aira, Cavatina, Farsa and Viola. Sospiro describes it as deep, warm and dramatic, a collection designed for the evening. Diva is its most floral voice.

An opening of ylang-ylang, bergamot, mandarin and peach

The opening combines creamy ylang-ylang with bergamot and mandarin, then with the flesh of a peach. A sunny opening, already full-bodied.

A heart of jasmine, rose, carnation, iris and patchouli

The heart is a grand bouquet: jasmine, rose, spicy carnation and powdery iris root, anchored by earthy patchouli. It is the most opulent part of the composition, and the most lyrical.

A base of sandalwood, labdanum, vanilla and white musk

The base settles on creamy sandalwood, resinous labdanum, vanilla and white musk. The trail becomes warm and powdery, extending the flowers without weighing them down.

The house's approach

Sospiro, founded in Italy in 2011, takes its name from the Italian word for sigh and names its fragrances using lyrical vocabulary. The Nero Collection, launched from the new Dubai chapter opened in 2022, abandons the velvet dressing of the historic lines and reduces the volume to 75 ml to lower the entry price.
