Musc K by Ella K is a niche musk, powdery and woody eau de parfum, unisex, created by Sonia Constant. It belongs to the Collection K and contains only six ingredients.

An imaginary heroine, a house founded by a female perfumer

Ella K was born in Paris in 2017, created by perfumer Sonia Constant with her husband, himself an expert in sourcing raw materials. Very few perfume houses are created by female perfumers: Ella K is an exception. "Ella K" is an imaginary heroine, inspired by three explorers from another century: Ella Maillart — from whom Sonia Constant says she borrowed her first name —, Karen Blixen and Alexandra David-Néel. Each perfume is the olfactory memory of a moment lived somewhere in the world, and is based on an iconic ingredient, a symbol of the destination. Trained at the ISIPCA and then at Givaudan, where she still works, Sonia Constant has created Guerlain L'Abeille, Montblanc Emblem, Balmain Extatic and Burberry Sport. 100 ml bottle.

An opening of pink pepper and sand lily

Pink pepper opens fruity and sparkling, while sand lily brings a floral whiteness and a slightly saline touch. Only two ingredients.

A heart of iris butter and cedar

Iris butter establishes its cool, rich powder, while cedar answers with a dry woodiness. Nothing else in the center.

A base of Haitian vetiver and musk

Haitian vetiver fraction brings an earthy and smoky root, while musk provides a skin-like effect. The trail remains very close to the body.

The house's signature

Six ingredients, and an iris butter at the heart. Butter is the richest and most expensive form of iris — it takes years of drying the rhizome to obtain it. Placing it at the center of a musk, with only a cedar beside it, creates a texture you touch rather than smell. The sand lily at the top, slightly saline, is the only hint of the place: everything else is a matter of material, not scenery.
