The perfumer takes center stage

Essential Parfums is a Paris-based house founded in 2018 by Géraldine Archambault, which turns conventional logic on its head: the perfumer's name is featured on the bottle, and the creation takes precedence over the packaging. Its philosophy can be summed up in one sentence: "simplicity as the ultimate luxury" — and it also applies to this skincare line, designed with the same understated packaging as the fragrances.

The ingredients

The soap captures the fragrance's signature: Italian bergamot on application, followed by jasmine and Comorian ylang-ylang, and finally cedar and Venezuelan tonka bean, which linger after rinsing. Five ingredients, three named origins — the same stripped-back formula as the eau de parfum, where a single note occupies the top.

The house's approach

Extend the fragrance without layering it.
