A house born in the bottles

Florian Pontier grew up in a French perfume-making family. As a child, he was already assembling bottles and caps to make unique pieces — a game that became a vision: to make the perfume object an artistic creation. The house was launched in February 2025 at Esxence, in Milan, with the FLO'W collection and its seven fragrances, whose bottles have a flame shape — and which he designs himself, which is rare in perfumery. Each bottle evokes a place, dreamed or lived: here Havana and its tobacco leaves.

An opening of tobacco and black pepper

Tobacco is the very first note. No citrus to cushion the entry: the leaf arrives as it is, brown and dry. Cinnamon and black pepper accompany it with a biting warmth, which accentuates the character rather than softening it.

A heart of labdanum and nutmeg

Labdanum — the cistus resin — establishes the amber column of the perfume: dark, balsamic, a little leathery. Nutmeg extends the spicy register, while tonka bean absolute brings its almond and hay facet, the only allowed sweetness of the composition.

A base of papyrus and vetiver

Papyrus is the signature of the base: dry, almost inky, it evokes paper and the workshop as much as the smoking room. Vetiver gives it its earthy and smoky root, and vanilla barely rounds off the whole without sweetening it.

The house's gesture

Tobacco as the very first note, without any opening citrus. It is a frank and rare choice: almost all perfumery tobaccos open on a bergamot or an orange charged with cushioning the shock and making the entry pleasant. Here, we get straight to the point.
