A house born from perfume bottles

Florian Pontier grew up in a French family of perfume makers. As a child, he already assembled bottles and caps to create unique pieces — a game that became a vision: to make the perfume object an artistic creation. The house was launched in February 2025 at Esxence, in Milan, with the FLO'W collection and its seven fragrances, whose bottles are flame-shaped — and which he designs himself, which is rare in perfumery. Each bottle evokes a place: Jabal Shams, the Mountain of the Sun, is the highest peak in Oman.

An opening of cypress and juniper

Cypress and juniper open together, resinous and sharp, with that dry freshness of mountain conifers. Pink pepper adds a bite without softening them.

A heart of spices and fir balsam

Cardamom, saffron, and black pepper increase the spicy intensity. Fir balsam joins the two top conifers — it is the third tree in the composition.

A base of oud and amberwood

Oud brings it back to earth: smoky, animalic, dense. Amberwood warms, papyrus dries, musk binds it all together, and tonka bean barely rounds it out, without ever introducing sweetness.

The house's signature

Two conifers at the top, a third in the heart. Cypress, juniper, then fir balsam: a verticality that runs through the entire pyramid, reflecting the massif the perfume evokes. The second choice is even rarer — no sweet notes in an oriental woody fragrance, a genre where vanilla and dried fruits are the rule. Tonka bean is used in the background, never as a gourmand element.
