Flowerlush by Oman Luxury is a floral, citrusy, woody eau de parfum for both men and women. It is the only fragrance from the house created by three perfumers: Maurice Roucel, Philippine Courtière and Pierre-Constantin Guéros.

An Omani house that calls upon master perfumers

Oman Luxury is an independent house founded in 2012 by Muatasim, Muadh and Ahmed, then relaunched in October 2020 with a new identity. Its approach is twofold: draw on Omani heritage—the incense route, spices, agarwood—and entrust the formulas to leading French perfumers, including Dominique Ropion, Marie Salamagne, Pierre Negrin, Maurice Roucel and Emilie Coppermann. One of the three founders, Muatasim Al Hinai, creates two of the fragrances in the collection himself. The bottles incorporate motifs from Omani architecture and textiles.

An opening of citrus, mandarin and bergamot

An entirely citrusy opening. Mandarin brings its sweet roundness, bergamot its green, slightly bitter freshness, complemented by a broader citrus accord. It is a bright, spice-free opening, rare for a house that uses spices everywhere else.

A heart of rose, cyclamen and jasmine

Rose takes center stage, while jasmine brings its full, slightly indolic whiteness. Cyclamen is the unusual note: green, watery and slightly powdery, it lightens the bouquet and prevents it from becoming cloying.

A base of patchouli, oud, sandalwood and musk

Patchouli brings its earthiness, oud its woody depth, sandalwood its creamy lactonic quality and musk a skin-like effect, complemented by broader woody notes. The dry-down brings the fragrance back to the house's signature style after a very Western opening.

The house's approach

Having three perfumers work on the same formula is unusual, and it is evident in the construction: the fragrance is made of three clearly separate sections—a citrus opening, a floral bouquet, an oud base—whereas the other fragrances in the collection have overlapping layers. Each part is distinct, and the transition from one to the next is direct.
