Three brothers, and a gourmand road trip

Fomowa Paris was founded in 2024 by three brothers, united by two common passions: haute parfumerie and exceptional desserts. They chose to remain anonymous. The house defines its collection as an "olfactory road trip" where each stop is an iconic delicacy — and the principle does not vary from one bottle to another: each material is named with its variety and origin. The formulas are developed in Paris, by Parisian noses. Here, the galette des Rois — the title and the praline give the reference.

An opening of bigarade orange

Italian bigarade orange essential oil opens the composition alone. It is the bitter, green and zesty orange, without anything candied: a sober entrance for a perfume that will become very rich.

A heart of neroli and Sri Lankan cinnamon

Tunisian neroli essential oil and orange blossom water unfold the flower of the same tree as the bigarade — the continuity is botanical as well as olfactory. Peru balsam establishes the balsamic, pink pepper essential oil the liveliness, and Sri Lankan cinnamon essential oil the spicy warmth of pastry.

A base of three vanillas and praline

Comoros vanilla extract, Tahiti vanilla absolute and natural vanillin are layered. Pink and brown praline brings the caramelized almond, Brazilian tonka bean absolute the cut hay, labdanum absolute the amber, and patchouli like Moroccan Atlas cedar prevent the whole from becoming syrupy.

Three vanillas from different origins in a single base. That of the Comoros, the Tahiti absolute — more floral and anise-like — and the natural vanillin, more direct. Layering them gives a relief that a single vanilla never achieves. It is also the house's most complex composition, with nineteen materials, almost all named with their origin.
