A 1942 recipe book, reopened in 2016

It all began in 1942 in Bibbiena, a medieval village in the Casentino Valley in Tuscany. Giovan Piero and Emma Ducci opened a bottega of fragrances and ointments there, which Giovan Piero created thanks to his experience as the village pharmacist — and his recipe book is still kept by the family. In the late 1960s, their daughter Irma turned it into a prestigious perfumery, which still exists today. It was in 2016 that Silvia Martinelli reopened these notebooks to create the brand: with more than fifty years of experience — including sales and consulting for Chanel and Dior — she composes them with her own hands in the family laboratory.

What the set contains

Thirteen bottles, or 26 ml of perfume: Almafolia, Bianco Latte, Bianco Oro, Blu Indaco, Borabora, Celeste, Christos, Colonia Nobile, Rosso Radice, Rossa Rubino, Scintilla, Shabby Chic and Blu Mare.
