A house born from a neuropsychiatrist

Indices Parfums is one of the very few Belgian perfume brands, based in Brussels. It was born from the meeting of Olga, a doctor in neuropsychiatry and biochemist, and Hubert Alexandre, owner of the Parfum d'Ambre perfumery and co-creator of L'Écrin à Parfums. Olga specialized in the therapeutic use of perfumes. Each creation is built around a precise emotional effect, and the house donates one euro per perfume sold to the Initiative Développement NGO, which supports small ylang-ylang producers in the Comoros. With this perfume, the commitment and the ingredient point to the same place.

An opening of cardamom and pepper

Cardamom opens with camphor and lemon notes, while Cayenne pepper brings a dry heat. Blackcurrant adds its dark and green fruitiness, the only freshness in a truly warm opening.

A heart of ylang-ylang

Ylang-ylang occupies the heart alone. A yellow flower that is sunny, creamy, and slightly banana-like, it is the most characteristic ingredient of the Indian Ocean — and the true subject of the perfume.

A vanilla base

Vanilla closes the composition alone, rounded and enveloping. It extends the creaminess of the ylang-ylang without adding anything else.
