Issara by Dusita is a niche aromatic, woody and green perfume extract, unisex, created by Pissara Umavijani. “Issara” means “freedom” in Thai.

A house born from poetry

Parfums Dusita is an award-winning independent Parisian haute parfumerie, founded in 2016 by Pissara “Ploi” Umavijani, a self-taught perfumer born in Bangkok who arrived in Paris in 2011. Each fragrance is an olfactory tribute to the poetry of her father, Montri Umavijani (1941-2006), a renowned Thai poet. Dusita is the name of the celestial paradise spoken of in his verses, and whose quest runs through the entire collection. Pissara draws an illustration for each creation herself, capturing its spirit as well as that of the poem. The juices are composed near Grasse from largely natural ingredients, and are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. 50 ml bottle.

An opening of Scots pine and clary sage

The Scots pine opens resinous and clear, while clary sage brings its herbaceous and slightly musky facet. Only two ingredients — we enter the forest directly.

A heart of tonka bean, vetiver and green notes

The tonka bean brings a coumarin sweetness, the vetiver its earthy root, and the green notes a vegetal freshness.

A base of ambergris, oakmoss and musk

An ambergris accord brings its saline minerality, the oakmoss the dampness of the undergrowth, and the musk the skin effect. In extract concentration, the trail lasts a long time.
