A house born from poetry

Parfums Dusita is an award-winning independent Parisian haute parfumerie house, founded in 2016 by Pissara “Ploi” Umavijani, a self-taught perfumer born in Bangkok who arrived in Paris in 2011. Each fragrance is an olfactory tribute to the poetry of her father, Montri Umavijani (1941-2006), a renowned Thai poet who wrote at night, often until two or three in the morning. Dusita is the name of the celestial paradise spoken of in his verses. Pissara draws an illustration for each creation herself, capturing its spirit as much as that of the poem. The juices are composed near Grasse from largely natural ingredients, and are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. 50 ml bottle.

An opening of clary sage, coffee and rum

Clary sage opens with an herbal and slightly musky note, coffee brings its roasted bitterness and a rum accord adds alcohol. The time is set from the very first seconds.

A heart of lavender, mimosa, broom and cigar

Lavender brings its aromatic freshness, while mimosa and broom are two yellow, velvety, honeyed flowers. Between them, a cigar accord establishes the cold smoke of rolled tobacco.

A base of sandalwood, oakmoss and tonka bean

Sandalwood brings its creaminess, oakmoss its forest dampness, patchouli its earthiness. Tonka bean and vanilla close with an almond-like sweetness.

The house's signature

A cigar accord set between mimosa and broom. Contrast is everything: two yellow, velvety, honeyed flowers framing the cold smoke of rolled tobacco. The coffee and rum at the top set the time — that of the end of the evening, when everything has already been said. The theme resonates with the house's story: Montri Umavijani wrote at night, until two or three in the morning. It is the most nocturnal creation in the catalog.
