Perfume as a narrative

Epicò Parfum is an Italian house founded in 2018 by Federico Gucciardi, an artist born in Bologna and recognized as "the poet of perfume". The name says it all: Epicò means "story". Each fragrance is born from a story that Federico writes himself — pages of emotions, dreams and memories that he then translates into accords, into "liquid verses" — and each perfume is accompanied by this short text. "Every drop is a word," he says, "every perfume is a chapter of our story." For the house, perfume extracts represent the noblest form of concentration, the one where each ingredient has time to tell its story.
