Perfume as storytelling

Epicò Parfum is an Italian house founded in 2018 by Federico Gucciardi, an artist born in Bologna and renowned as “the poet of perfume”. The name says it all: Epicò means “story”. Each fragrance is born from a story written by Federico himself, which he then translates into accords, or “liquid verses”. “Every drop is a word,” he says, “every perfume is a chapter of our story.” The house also develops a line of eaux de parfum, a line of home fragrances, and this body care line.

An opening of mandarin, apricot and neroli

Mandarin and bergamot open with brightness, while apricot and apricot jelly bring a fruity pulp. Sweet almonds, neroli and violet leaves complete the opening—seven ingredients in the top notes alone.

A heart of peony, rose and iris milk

Peony brings its watery transparency, while rose adds its honeyed sweetness. Iris milk creates a rich powdery effect, and vanilla begins to soften the fragrance.

Iris is among the most expensive ingredients in perfumery, as its roots must be dried for several years before they can be used; finding it in a 250 ml format is rare. This is what sets this mist apart from conventional scented mists: the formula is not diluted; it is composed like a perfume—seven ingredients in the top notes alone, forming a true three-tiered fragrance pyramid.

How to use it?

Spray the mist generously over the entire body, after showering or throughout the day. It layers perfectly with the Midnight Body Cream to make the fragrance last longer. The 250 ml size allows for generous daily use.
