Mystic Desert by Karakash is an oriental, woody and spicy perfume extract, unisex, created by Marc Zini. Incense in the very first note, without any citrus to announce it.

Twelve fragrances, seven perfumers, one single year

Karakash Perfume is a Turkish haute parfumerie house, and its history has this particularity that all twelve of its fragrances were launched in the same year, in 2023 — a complete collection from the outset. Even rarer: these twelve creations are signed by seven different noses — Mohammad Tammam Mando, Jean-Michel Santorini, Amandine Galliano, Marc Zini, Marie Huguenot, Laure-Leta Jacquet and Émilie Bouge. The bottles are sculptural, and the house's discourse revolves around self-preparation and confidence.

An opening of incense, rose and saffron

Incense opens the composition, resinous and peppery. Rose arrives with it, and saffron brings its leathery and metallic touch. It is the classic triad of Middle Eastern perfumery, placed from the outset without any citrus to soften the entry.

A heart of leather, patchouli and cypriol

Leather darkens it frankly, patchouli brings the damp earth, cypriol its Indian root smoke. The heart is the darkest passage of the perfume.

A base of amber and sandalwood

Amber brings the balsamic warmth, sandalwood its milky creaminess and musk the longevity on the skin. The base warms up what the heart had of severe.
