Perfume as a narrative

Epicò Parfum is an Italian house founded in 2018 by Federico Gucciardi, an artist born in Bologna and recognized as "the poet of perfume." The name says it all: Epicò means "story". Each fragrance is born from a story that Federico writes himself—pages of emotions, dreams, and memories that he then translates into accords, or "liquid verses"—and each perfume is accompanied by this short text, which reveals the soul of the fragrance. "Every drop is a word," he says, "every perfume is a chapter of our story." After years of artistic studies and a career in major Italian beauty houses, he now composes with Fabio Bernardi and Giulia Brigliadori.
