A house that changes perfumer with each creation

Nysos is a Parisian house with an unusual approach to composition: it entrusts almost every creation to a different perfumer. Its first ten fragrances were signed by eight noses, among them signatures usually found at the major houses. Its eaux de parfum come in 80 ml, its extraits in 50 ml — and Oud Elixir opens a third format: the 3 ml élixir.

The materials

Two woods, and nothing to mask them. The natural Trat oud comes from the province of Trat, in eastern Thailand, where it is distilled from Aquilaria crassna: it brings an intense and captivating woody depth. The natural Indian sandalwood answers it with a creamy, warm and velvety softness that envelops the oud instead of covering it. The power of one is balanced by the delicacy of the other.

The house's signature

Nysos fragrances use eight to twenty-four materials — Ampelos has eight, Les Paradis Artificiels twenty-four. Oud Elixir takes the opposite path: two natural raw materials, chosen for their nobility, and a composition that lets each one be smelled distinctly. The presentation follows the same standard: a 3 ml genuine crystal bottle, a gold cap and a satin pouch.
