A house born between the pharmacy and the guitar

ROOM 1015 was founded in Paris in 2015 by Michael Partouche, known as "Dr. Mike": a doctor of pharmacy and rock guitarist, he left the pharmacy for perfume. The house takes its name from room 1015 of the Continental Hyatt House on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles—the hotel nicknamed the "Riot House". Its motto: "Listen to your fragrance". Each perfume starts from a piece of music and a specific scene—a King's Road shop, a California beach, a laundromat—rather than a marketing brief.

Cherry Punk (fruity leathery), Hollyrose (floral leathery), Wavechild (fruity hesperidic), Jasmine Freak (floral fruity), Love-O-Matic (musky fruity), Poppy Riot (floral woody), Wasabi Klub (hesperidic spicy), as well as Sonic Flower, Sweet Leaf and Purple Mantra.

What the selection covers

The ingredients range from yuzu and wasabi to leather and patchouli, passing through watermelon, coconut, tuberose, poppy and tonka bean. None of the ten fragrances share its dominant family with another: the set is the only way to measure this breadth before choosing a bottle.

The house's touch

Two perfumers share the collection: Jérôme Epinette created the oldest creations in the set, Jérôme Di Marino the most recent. The difference is audible—short and contrasting pyramids on one side, fuller and sunnier compositions on the other.
