Sacred BondGourmand Floral Extrait de Parfum

Sacred Bond by Reinvented is a unisex amber gourmand floral extrait de parfum. The house created it around the invisible bonds that unite souls.

A house that refuses to tell its story

Reinvented says almost nothing about itself, and that is a deliberate choice: its website mentions neither founder, nor perfumer, nor year, nor country. It defines itself with a single sentence, placed at the top of everything: “Reinvented is the essence of life, the primal act where mind, energy, emotion, soul, and body are inseparable, and where each defines the other”. Its invitation can be summed up in four words — see beyond the tangible. The entire collection consists of 75 ml extrait de parfum, each creation is presented as genderless, and the house classifies its fragrances not by collection but by olfactory profile: amber, citrus, earthy, floral, fruity, gourmand, oriental, powdery, spicy, woody.

An opening of mandarin, bergamot, and raspberry

Mandarin brings its sweet roundness, bergamot its bitterness, and raspberry a tart red fruit. The opening is luminous and brief: it announces the gourmand character without yet delivering it.

A heart of gardenia, jasmine, and rose

Gardenia — a creamy white floral, almost milky — is the star of this heart. Jasmine illuminates it, rose softens it. Only three flowers, and none is there just to fill the space.

A base of saffron, sandalwood, benzoin, caramel, vanilla, white musk, and amber

Seven ingredients. Caramel and vanilla provide the gourmand character, benzoin and amber the resinous warmth, sandalwood the creaminess, and white musk the skin-like effect. And saffron, placed in the base rather than the opening, brings a leathery touch that prevents the whole from becoming a dessert.

The house's signature touch

Saffron is in the base, and that is the choice that structures the entire fragrance. It is almost always placed in the opening for its metallic brilliance; here it waits, and it comes to counter the caramel and vanilla just as they might become cloying. The house describes the intention as the instinctive harmony between mind, body, and soul, and the result as sensual, soothing, and deeply magnetic.

For whom, for what occasions?

For those who love gourmand florals and are looking for a creamy white flower held by saffron. It is an all-season fragrance, wearable from day to night, with long-lasting wear and an enveloping trail. Sacred Bond Reinvented will appeal to those who want comfort without sentimentality.
