Oman Luxury is an independent house founded in Muscat in 2012. Its approach: to create a dialogue between the centuries-old Omani tradition of frankincense and contemporary perfumery, entrusting its formulas to renowned perfumers such as Dominique Ropion, Marie Salamagne, and Pierre Negrin. The house considers the starting point of all its creations to be Dhofar, the region where the frankincense tree grows. What this frankincense smells like

The tears are white and greenish, almost translucent. When heated, they release a scent that the house describes as citrusy and balsamic: an initial lemony freshness, followed by a softer, rounder resinous warmth. The green tint is no minor detail: the house presents it as a sign of superior-quality resin, rich in essential oil.

How to use it

Place one or two tears on an electric incense burner or on already glowing hot charcoal.
