A chef turned perfumer

Lorenzo Pazzaglia is an Italian house born in Cagli, a village in the heart of the Marches. This is where its founder grew up, surrounded by the aromas of his father's restaurant — "I grew up surrounded by the smells of my father's kitchen," he says — before working there himself as a chef. Today he lives on the Adriatic coast, but his fragrances are still made in Cagli. An autodidact, he composes the entire collection himself. His mission was born from a specific frustration — perfumes evaporated too quickly — hence a 100% extrait de parfum collection, with a very high oil concentration and an obsession with longevity and sillage.

An opening of mango, pineapple and coconut

Mango and pineapple open on ripe tropical fruit, while coconut appears as fruit — dry, grated, almost woody. Bergamot and white rum complete the opening, with tropical notes.

A heart of coconut milk and white flowers

Coconut milk takes the same ingredient and presents it in liquid form: rich, sweet, lactonic. Marine notes and white flowers accompany it, preventing the heart from becoming a tin of food.

A base of vetiver, sandalwood and Indian amber

Vetiver brings a dry, smoky root, sandalwood its creaminess, Indian amber warmth, and musk longevity. Four ingredients, and it is the vetiver that does all the work.

The house's signature touch

Coconut is used twice, first as fruit and then as milk — and vetiver prevents it from becoming a piña colada. It is a chef's instinct: to distinguish the different states of the same ingredient rather than using a single note. And the woody base is the safeguard — without it, mango, pineapple and coconut would create a beach cocktail. This fragrance won the "Best New Fragrance" award at the 2024 Madrid Perfume Awards.
