Suprême Nectar by Nectar Olfactif is a gourmand, woody, vanilla perfume extract, unisex, created by Amandine Galliano. It tells the story of the almond tree, taking the idea even further by using it as both fruit and flower.

A house inspired by the world of bees

Nectar Olfactif is a French house founded by David Perrin, a niche perfume and travel enthusiast who has been in the perfume industry for many years. The entire brand is built around a single image: the world of bees foraging on flowers, plants, and fruit trees, and fragrances designed like the nectar they bring back. The formulas are created by perfumers from major fragrance houses — Robertet for five of the six, CPL Aromas for Cerana — and each bottle bears a golden bee seal.

An opening of amber and almond

Only two ingredients, and an unusual choice: amber is placed right at the top note, where most perfumes reserve it for the base. The perfume therefore opens warm, without citrus or spice to refresh it, and almond immediately adds its kernel-like sweetness.

A heart of almond blossom, honey, and creamy notes

The almond blossom arrives after the fruit: white and pale pink, it is the one that opens between February and March, when the fruit does not yet exist. The honey thickens without being sweet, and the creamy notes establish a sense of comfort. It is a heart of an orchard in bloom.

The perfume takes the entire tree rather than a single ingredient: almond as a fruit, almond blossom as a flower, and amber placed in the top note for immediate warmth. Suprême Nectar belongs to Opus N° 1, the house's first series.
