Syn.Cherry by Scentologia is a fruity gourmand floral eau de parfum, unisex, created by Pierre-Constantin Guéros. The house says that its perfumer replaced the mango, the signature of Syn.Ergy, with a juicy cherry, and that she chose to keep what she calls her sweetest mistake.

A Parisian house born in 2021

Scentologia was created in Paris in 2021 by the founders of Arcadie de Niche. It advocates for perfumery where creation and science work together, and openly publishes the technical tools it uses.

An opening of cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant and pear

The opening is a block of red and black fruits: cherry leads, raspberry accompanies it, blackcurrant brings its dark acidity and pear a lighter and juicier note. It is the cherry, absent from Syn.Ergy, which gives the perfume its name.

A heart of jasmine, rose, violet, mango and rosewood

The heart keeps the rose and jasmine of Syn.Ergy and adds violet, powdery, and rosewood, a wood with pink accents. The mango, which opened Syn.Ergy, descends here to the heart and extends the fruit under the flowers.

A base of vanilla, caramel, patchouli, moss, cedar, musk and amber

The base is the most abundant of the three stages, with seven materials. Vanilla and caramel pull the composition towards the gourmand, patchouli and moss give it earthiness, cedarwood, musk and amber round off the trail.

Syn.Cherry is built on the base of Syn.Ergy, by the same perfumer. Of its sixteen materials, nine come from the original: pear, blackcurrant, mango, rose, jasmine, amber, musk, moss and cedarwood. The other seven (cherry, raspberry, violet, rosewood, patchouli, vanilla and caramel) move the perfume from the solar fruit to the red fruit and the gourmand. Everything starts from a single exchange, claimed by the house: the cherry takes the place of the mango at the top.
