A Parisian house that composes destinations

Une Nuit Nomade was founded by Philippe Solas and Alexandra Cubizolles and is based at 91 Boulevard Saint-Germain, in Paris. The first collection was called Une Nuit à Bali; it was by wanting to explore other places that nomadism became the theme. Each fragrance bears the name of a real place, and the house entrusts each destination to a different nose.

An opening of plum and mandarin

The opening combines a black plum, fleshy and slightly winey, and a mandarin. A fruity start that immediately softens what follows.

A heart of labdanum and iris

The heart layers a labdanum, an ylang-ylang, a powdery iris, a vanilla and a cistus. This is where the amber plays out: between the resin and the powder, never in sugar alone.

A base of patchouli and sandalwood

The base brings together a patchouli, a sandalwood and a benzoin. The house describes the result as the scent of sun-tanned skin and cold metal.

Une Nuit Nomade offers each fragrance in four sizes — 2.5, 25, 50 and 100 ml, which is rare in niche perfumery: you can enter the collection with the travel vial. And each destination is entrusted to a nose chosen for it, rather than a single in-house perfumer.
