Parfumeur | Jérôme di Marino
Jardins de Misfah by Une Nuit Nomade is a gourmand oriental floral eau de parfum, unisex, composed by Jérôme di Marino, a perfumer at Takasago. It bears the name of the village of Misfah Al Abreyeen, in Oman.
A Parisian house that composes destinations
Une Nuit Nomade was founded by Philippe Solas and Alexandra Cubizolles and is headquartered at 91 boulevard Saint-Germain, in Paris. The house entrusted its Omani collection to Jérôme di Marino, and describes this perfume as an olfactory pause, a suspended moment.
An opening of cardamom and nutmeg
The opening consists of two spices: a green and camphoraceous cardamom and a nutmeg. A dry start, which does not yet announce the sweetness of the heart.
A heart of date and rose
The heart combines a creamy date and a rose, present in two forms — essence and absolute. The house speaks of an accord of dates, honey, and fresh water; it is the subject of the perfume.
A base of almond and saffron
The base consists of only two materials: an almond and a saffron. The trail remains soft, slightly milky, with the bitterness of saffron to prevent it from turning into a dessert.
The house's gesture
Une Nuit Nomade offers each perfume in four sizes — 2.5, 25, 50, and 100 ml. Jardins de Misfah also exists as a perfume extract, which the house presents as a deeper and rounder version of the same idea.
For whom, for what occasions?
Jardins de Misfah is for those who are looking for a soft oriental rose rather than a demonstrative one. A unisex eau de parfum for all seasons, from day to night.
