La Sarrapia by Florian Pontier is a fruity, gourmand, woody niche perfume extract, unisex, created by Pierre-Constantin Guéros. Three ingredients, one per layer: it is the most minimalist composition in the collection.

A house born from bottles

Florian Pontier grew up in a French family involved in perfume manufacturing. As a child, he already assembled bottles and caps to create unique pieces — a game that became a vision: to turn the perfume object into an artistic creation. The house was launched in February 2025 at Esxence, in Milan, with the FLO'W collection and its seven fragrances, whose bottles are flame-shaped — and which he designs himself, which is rare in perfumery. The manifesto can be summed up in one sentence: “with a touch of humor and humility, we break conventions,” placing eccentricity and originality at the heart of creation.

A strawberry opening

Strawberry opens alone. No citrus to introduce it, no spice to enhance it: the fruit arrives bare, red and sweet, with that slightly green facet that recalls the leaf as much as the flesh.

A coffee extract heart

Coffee extract takes over, and alone. Roasted, bitter, slightly grilled, it comes to counterbalance the sweetness of the strawberry at the exact moment it was about to become cloying.

A sandalwood base

Sandalwood closes the perfume. Creamy, lactonic, and slightly animalic, it tempers both the fruit and the bitterness of the coffee, and gives the whole the longevity expected of an extract.

And the story behind the bottle is worth exploring: Florian Pontier has never been to Venezuela. “I had a teacher I was secretly in love with who came from there,” he says. “This place stayed with me — it became part of my imagination.” A perfume built on a dreamed country rather than a visited one.
