Al Jazeera Perfumes was founded in Doha in 1998 and opened the city's first rare perfume boutique in 2002. The word Paris inscribed on its bottles is not merely decorative: from the very beginning, the house has worked with France's leading manufacturers of perfume raw materials and entrusted its compositions to French perfumers. Silk is the creation of Loc Dong, the perfumer also responsible for Magic, one of the house's greatest successes.
