Al Jazeera Perfumes
Al Jazeera Perfumes — the pearl of Qatar, composed in Paris
Founded in 1998 in Doha, Al Jazeera Perfumes has established itself as one of the Gulf's leading fragrance houses. Its first boutique opened in 2002 in the Qatari capital; today, the brand has around thirty standalone boutiques in Doha and a network of locations across the Gulf and the world, including a counter at Hamad International Airport. Its name, al-jazeera, means "the island" in Arabic.
The word "Paris" inscribed on every bottle is no mere ornament: from the very beginning, the house's compositions have been developed and manufactured in France, and created by renowned French perfumers — Dominique Ropion, Olivier Cresp, Sophie Labbé, Nathalie Lorson, Michel Almairac, Quentin Bisch, Jean-Christophe Hérault, and Julien Rasquinet. This is the unique character of Al Jazeera: the temperament and intensity of Gulf perfumery, expressed through French artistry.
The catalogue is organized into collections. The Luxury Collection, the rarest, is built around natural ingredients — rose, oud, ambergris — and presented in gold and laser-cut glass bottles. The Oryx collection is inspired by the white antelope that is the emblem of Qatar, while the Oud, Musk, and Gemstone lines each explore a specific ingredient or theme. Why choose Al Jazeera Perfumes?
- A leading Qatari house, founded in Doha in 1998
- Compositions developed and manufactured in France, hence the "Paris" engraved on the bottles
- The signature of renowned French perfumers: Ropion, Cresp, Labbé, Lorson, Almairac, Bisch
- Noble ingredients — oud, rose, ambergris, musk — and the distinctive longevity of Gulf perfumery
Between Oriental opulence and Parisian precision, Al Jazeera Perfumes holds both ends at once: this is what makes its fragrances difficult to confuse with those of any other house.
