Vanilla for Breakfast by French Cowboy is a gourmand vanilla eau de parfum with a milky facet, unisex, created by Ashley Santiago. A vanilla designed to shine from the first spray, where most vanillas take half an hour to reveal themselves.

A Parisian house that co-creates each perfume with a guest

French Cowboy was born in Paris in 2025 from the meeting of two founders: Ashley Santiago, the youngest perfumer at the Paris office of Givaudan, and Adrien Ollat, a former financier. Each creation is co-written with a personality from the current scene, who gives the direction; the juices are made in France, near Arras, and all the formulas are vegan. Vanilla for Breakfast was born with Mia Fall, beauty creator, doctor with a background in data and robotics, and declared vanilla enthusiast.

An opening of almond milk, benzoin and vanilla tincture

The start rests on an exclusive sweet almond extract to Givaudan, obtained by upcycling almonds, which gives the note of almond milk. Almond and vanilla share certain volatile compounds: almond therefore allows vanilla to express itself from the top notes. A vanilla tincture rises with it, and a touch of benzoin rounds off the opening with a resinous warmth.

A heart of CO2 vanilla and Madagascar vanilla absolute

The CO2 vanilla makes the link between the opening and the heart: extracted with carbon dioxide, it restores the pod with clarity. The Madagascar vanilla absolute then settles in, rounder and deeper, and extends all the way to the base.

A base of Twentyfold vanilla absolute and roasted tonka bean

The Twentyfold vanilla absolute, the most enveloping of all, is the one that lasts the longest on the skin. The roasted tonka bean absolute brings it an immediately recognizable toasted depth, which gives the perfume its breakfast side.

The house's touch

Four vanillas in a single formula, each chosen for the facet revealed by its extraction method: tincture, CO2, Madagascar absolute and Twentyfold. Vanilla offers very few top notes; for it to shine from the opening, this complete layering was needed, from the start to the base. The perfume is concentrated at 35%.
