Rosendo Mateu, Master Perfumer from Barcelona since 1968

Rosendo Mateu embodies a vision of Spanish niche perfumery shaped by decades of creation. Behind the house is the eponymous perfumer, whose career began in 1968 in Barcelona and who earned the title of Master Perfumer in 2010, after training in Grasse, Geneva, and Paris.

In 2014, Rosendo Mateu embarked on a personal project with his son Joan Mateu: to create a house capable of freely expressing its own vision of perfumery. More than a succession of fragrances, the collection tells the story of a perfumer through the materials he has worked with his entire life.
